EXPERIENCES
Sunrises and sunsets, epic coastlines and hidden waterways, conversations with creatures big and small.
SUP gives us the ability to access a world very different to what we are used to. Viewing it in 360 degrees, we can create memorable moments with others. We have enjoyed these incredible experiences for many years, and now we want to share them with you.
- Our experiences are offered based on opportunities. When we spot suitable conditions, we will schedule suitable experiences. To stay up-to-date on what becomes available, sign up to our mailing list.
- Experiences are delivered in group settings, but you can contact us if you would like to arrange a private session for an individual, couples, family, and/or friends.
- We can provide you with the SUP board and kit you need, but also encourage you to use using your own if you have it.
IRELAND'S EYE LOOP
(reGULAR)
Have you ever wanted to take to the waters around Ireland's Eye on your SUP? Now is your chance with this guided SUP excursion.
Once on the water, you'll experience the island's wonder from various sides. Eoin will share his insights and invite you to discover its hidden history, stunning landforms, and special wildlife.
NOTE: This is not a SUP education session. Previous SUP education and/or relevant experience is required (proof may be requested). While you will be guided by our coaches at all times, you must be able to self-rescue (prone paddling, and getting back on your board from the water) and you must be able to complete a 6km distance unaided.
"Eoin led a great tour around Ireland's Eye. Great fun, very safe, and nice bit of history/info about the island."
AnnuAL LIFFEY
SANTA SUP
(SPECIAL)
We’re very proud to organise for Santa to arrive by SUP through Dublin city centre in early December each year since 2020.
Joined by Mrs Claus, his reindeer, and the elves, they bring magic and joy to everyone along the River Liffey. His 2022 arrival was captured in photos and video. Over €1000 was raised for our ongoing charity campaign, building awareness and raising funds for Mental Health Ireland and the RNLI.
Watch out for his arrival again in 2023, if you believe!
NOTE: This is not a SUP education session. Previous SUP education and/or relevant experience is required (proof may be requested). While you will be guided by our coaches at all times, you must be able to self-rescue (prone paddling, and getting back on your board from the water) and you must be able to complete an 8.5km distance unaided.
"A fabulous, safe, and well-organised trip on the River Liffey yesterday for the Annual Santa SUP"
DarkNESS inTO LIGHT
(SPECIAL)
We shone our lights on the waters around Howth at dawn, joined by 28 SUPers.
By doing so we helped to keep the essential services of Pieta available to those who need them most.
This experience was offered free of charge; instead, we asked that donations be made to Darkness Into Light. An awesome €1336 was raised by our SUPers in 2022. The sun will rise and the light will shine again in 2023, and we plan to be back on the water for it.
NOTE: This is not a SUP education session. Previous SUP education and/or relevant experience is required (proof may be requested). While you will be guided by our coaches at all times, you must be able to self-rescue (prone paddling, and getting back on your board from the water) and you must be able to complete an 4km distance unaided.
"Had a fab early morning outing with Discover SUP for their Darkness into Light paddle in Howth."
